I have been following your Bilibili videos and pick-and-place machines for a long time. Driven by a strong interest, I had the idea and action to build my own machine. Since March 2022, I have spent a long time and effort collecting and organising a large amount of materials and information from various sources, completing 3D design drawings and a bill of materials. However, considering the material costs (5000+) and the unpredictable difficulties of debugging and trial and error later on, it has been quite difficult to find continuous time to focus and work on it, so I have put it on hold.
The release of the TornadoSMT2 coincided perfectly with the need for a pick-and-place machine for my current R&D project. It was my first time looking for a third-party pick-and-place service, and with a small quantity and no experience, there were many issues to overcome and solve. Additionally, the purchase cost of the new Tornado machine fell within the budget, so I decided to place an order directly. Upon receiving it, the architecture and detail handling of the new machine truly exceeded my expectations. Looking back at my original design, it perfectly illustrates the question of 'whether or not and how good it is.' Only through personal experience can one understand and appreciate the pain of wanting something and not being able to have it. I am grateful that there are people silently working hard for users like me, and all I can do is buy one of their machines, which serves as both a handy tool and a piece of craftsmanship.
