In my own work experience, I have personally encountered electrical, mechanical, and programming aspects. Coupled with the earlier process of gathering information on pick-and-place machines, these have been meaningful to me. The accumulation of official wiki and various openpnp resources, along with the shop owner's instructional videos, allowed me to get up to speed within a few days of receiving the new machine. Openpnp has indeed done a lot behind the scenes for users; it has everything one can think of, and even more that one might not expect, often even better. It maximally achieves both functional development and user support, and the implementation of both software and hardware is worth a visit for interested friends.
